About THINKY Containers and Adapters
THINKY containers and adapters are designed to help optimise material processing in THINKY planetary mixers.
The containers or jars come in a variety of sizes, from 12 ml to 4000 ml, for mixing and degassing materials of different characteristics. The choice of container is very important for optimal mixing; we will recommend options for you based on your mixing needs. The mixing force is related to the diameter of the cup. Because the amount of material in the container can impact on mixing efficiency, the container size is also important.
The adapters are designed to hold different containers, from cups to syringes. Most containers will require an adapter in order to fit securely in the mixer.

| Disposable containers are available, usually made of polypropylene. Some have screw lids, some are open topped. Suitable adapters are available for all of the containers we stock. Pictured is the 240 ml polypropylene jar & cap, which is also available in a clear version. |  |

Custom Adapters
Our in-house technical team are able to produce custom adapters to suit your own containers and the THINKY machine you are using. Here is a 3D model example of an adapter that we have printed. Our 3D printed adapters are made from carbon filled nylon, which we have extensively tested.
